An Egyptian human rights defender who is currently studying human rights law at the School of Oriental and African Studies(SOAS),University of London. He is a member of the executive committee and treasurer of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN). He was the executive director of the Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies(CIHRS).
